    Helping McMURRY/TMG pave the way for custom content on all digital platforms, including new devices, is Scott Bolgiano, Manager, Digital Magazines and Production Technology, a 20-year veteran of this leading independent U.S. content marketing firm. In his role, to put it simply, Bolgiano works with editors and art directors to produce best-in-class mobile editions of McMURRY/TMG’s award-winning publications. To put it more eloquently, Bolgiano’s impressive, diligent, ground-breaking work allows our clients to connect their content with their desired audiences in more ways than their print magazine may ever be able to. Bolgiano’s recent accomplishment in digital versioning can be found in WebMD the Magazine’s app, which has brought incredible recognition to his work in print-to-app development. The WebMD Magazine app received a bronze Pearl award for “Best Mobile Application” and a bronze FOLIO: Ozzie for “Best App” in 2012, and it was named a Finalist in the 2013 Digiday Publishing Awards in the category of “Best Use of an iPad/Tablet by a Publisher,” alongside TED conferences app (the winner), The Economist app and the Huffington Post Live iPad app. Representing McMURRY/TMG at industry educational events is another way Bolgiano works to spread digital version knowledge to those who share his passion in pushing content out through as many different media as possible. He has spoken at the 2013 Mag+ Appspresso event, where he discussed what it takes to re-imagine and strategically transition different types of publications to mobile devices, and shared examples of his work done for McMURRY/TMG clients WebMD, Consumer Electronics Association, ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership and the Association for Governing Boards. In June of 2013, he presented “The Makings of Magazine Tablet App” to the attendees of the Membership, Marketing & Communications Conference, at which he profiled our WebMD the Magazine, i3 and Associations Now apps to an audience with a very engaged “app-titude.”
