The second annual Executive Leadership Sessions are by association publishers, for association publishers. A two-part series immediately before and after lunch, these sessions will give strategic publishing players an opportunity to go in-depth on how to help their associations tie developing technologies into their tactics, while learning from the best in the business who are already doing it.

The Executive Leadership Sessions kick off at 10:30am with keynoter Amy Webb, digital strategist and author, who will present on the future of tech trends and how they will affect associations. After a break for lunch, the Executive Leadership Sessions will reconvene at 2:30pm, and Amy will moderate a panel of three high-level association professionals, with discussion points coming from her morning presentation.

The Executive Leadership Sessions are open to all association publishers, CEOs and strategic-level professionals, but registration is limited to 75 attendees, so sign up early. There is no extra charge for publishers who are already attending the full conference. To attend the Executive Leadership Sessions only (including lunch), separate registration is available for $150.

Amy Webb is a digital media futurist and founder of  Webbmedia Group, a leading digital strategy consulting firm for emerging technology advising in media, entertainment, advertising and technology companies, and for higher education, nonprofits and government.

Amy Webb will moderate a panel discussion with three association publishing professionals on technology strategies that you can bring back to your association today. These panelists will discuss Amy’s keynote address from Part 1 of the Executive Leadership Sessions and share their own successful strategies and technology innovations. 


Anna Baker is the American Diabetes Association’s Director, Digital Engagement. In this role she transforms content and current events into successful online marketing communications initiatives. She joined the Association in 2011 to grow its social media program, which consistently tops industry rankings. Anna has a degree in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.


Anna Tauzin serves to connect restaurant operator members of the National Restaurant Association with new technology and marketing concepts. This includes directing the Association’s new innovation outreach programs and building relationships with Silicon Valley and startup companies, venture capitalists, and curious restaurateurs. She is working to build new events and connection points between these somewhat disparate groups. She is the director of projects such as pitch sessions, demo days, information-sharing salons, and the Restaurant Innovation Summit.


Wendy Wise is the Manager of Content Marketing and Lead Generation at the American Chemical Society. Wendy is working on transforming the way the society markets its journals, products, and news to an audience of over a million readers in the chemistry universe through content marketing and new marketing technology. Previously, she worked at the American Association of the Advancement of Science as a Marketing Manager, promoting Science magazine and its affiliated journals.
